Golden Hills Learning Academy holds diploma exams in November, January, April, June and August. The seats created for these exams are for students taking diploma courses with our school throughout the school year.

REGISTERING FOR DIPLOMA EXAMS
Our school will register students writing a diploma for the first time in a course. Students rewriting a diploma exam need to register themselves through their myPass account.

WRITING CENTERS
The Learning Academy writing center location for November, April and August diploma exams is in Strathmore. In June 2025 our writing centers are in Strathmore and Chestermere.
IMPORTANT: When registering for diploma exams in myPass students should choose Golden Hills Learning Academy, Strathmore as their writing center. This is the only option for our school.
If you register yourself and want to write at our Chestermere location in June, first select Golden Hills Learning Academy, Strathmore in myPass. Then complete our writing center survey found here to indicate Chestermere or Strathmore locations. If you have questions please email our office at learning.academy@ghsd75.ca.
If Golden Hills is not your primary (full time) school, you may be able to write at your own school. Check with your school or contact us to see if your school has agreed to allow students to write with them.
Students will receive an email prior to the exam(s) with general diploma exam information and writing center location details.
Students have the option of registering at a different location if they have been granted permission to do so by an administrator there. If given permission to write, the student is required to enter the name of this person in myPass when registering. If you have a confirmed registration at a writing center other than the Learning Academy please let us know.
We are not able to accept diploma registrations from students who are not taking courses with our school due to capacity limitations.
